Remove shortcut virus from your PC & Flash Drive
Now a days we face a common virus problem in our PC also our flash drive Called Shortcut virus. If your file is infected by it, it will be hidden and inaccessible until at some point that it becomes corrupted and unusable. Shortcut virus has two variations; the most common is Flash drive Shortcut virus, then the File and Folder Shortcut virus. This is 100% Trojan; it consolidates every file in your portable devices and put it into one hidden folder. Then, it creates a Flash Disk shortcut.exe. Like the file and a folder shortcut virus, it will give you no choices but to click it to see your files. Once executed, it installs malicious applications that spy your computing routine and most probably steal your financial records.
It will make your file or folder system protected. If you want to see your file or folder then need to go folder option > view > click to unchek system protected file option.
Now we start to remove Shortcut virus.................. so lets start........
For Non Affected Computer:
01. Go RUN
02. write wscript.exe and press ENTER.
03. Stop script after specified number of seconds: & put 1 & APPLY
Now your computer can't affected by shortcut virus from pen drive.
For Affected Computer:
01. From Key Board Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC
02. Go PROCESS Tab
03. Select wscript.exe
04. Click End Process
05. Go your computer C:/ drive
06. in Search Box Type wscript and search.
07. which file named wscript select all file and SHIFT+DELETE
08. if any file not delete then skip that.
09. now go RUN
10. write wscript.exe and press ENTER
11. Stop script after specified number of seconds: & put 1 & APPLY
Now your computer is free from shortcut virus and also can't affected by shortcut virus from enter pen drive.
For Affected Pen drive / Flash drive:
01. Connect your pen drive to computer.
02. go cmd
03.Write your pen drive DRIVE letter and press ENTER. ( like: I: )
04. Write down code in down correctly.
05. Code: attrib -s -h /s /d *.*
06. Press ENTER
07. Now Your Pen drive show all data.
08. Collect important data and format your pen drive.
that enough your pen drive is now virus free.........
Hints:
Use Antivirus and also update your antivirus. Scan your PC. When connect any USB Scan Through your antivirus first....... It will Help You to protect form virus.
